Orders in the Seznam Email order overview

Foxdeli delivery e-mails contain structured data that Seznam Email uses to show the order in its Orders tab. What you need for it and which status the customer sees.

Last updated:

Seznam Email offers its users an order overview: in the “Objednávky” (Orders) tab, they see their purchases, their status and the e-mails they received about them, all in one place. Foxdeli delivery e-mails contain hidden structured data based on the Schema.org standard, from which Seznam reads the order. Customers can then find your order in the overview, complete with its current status and a link to track the shipment.

What you need to set up

Almost nothing – all delivery e-mails contain the structured data automatically. However, Seznam adds an order to the overview only if it finds all the required details in them:

  • the order number and the order total including currency – these are taken from the order in your e-shop,
  • the e-shop address starting with https:// – the “Domain” field in Settings → Stores (for the store and its markets). If you enter the domain without http:// or https://, the app adds https:// automatically. An address with http:// is not enough.
  • the e-shop logo – the logo uploaded in the e-mail template: Communication → Mailing → template → “Design” tab, “Horizontal logo” field. Without a logo, Seznam won’t add the order to the overview.

Seznam describes the required details in its documentation.

What data Seznam receives

  • the order number, the store name (“Display name”, otherwise “Store name”), the e-shop address and logo,
  • the order total,
  • the order status, based on which e-mail is being sent (see the table below),
  • a link to the order – the order detail in your e-shop if Foxdeli knows it, otherwise the tracking page,
  • if available: the carrier, tracking number, a link to the tracking page, the estimated delivery date, the delivery address and the delivery type (to an address, pickup point or parcel box).

Which details Seznam shows in the overview, and in what form, is up to Seznam. Each further delivery e-mail for the same order updates the status in the overview.

Which status the customer sees

Seznam distinguishes eight order statuses. Foxdeli assigns one of them to each delivery e-mail:

Order status for SeznamE-mails in Foxdeli
ProcessingOrder accepted, Order changed, Order has been paid, Ordered from the supplier, Manufacturing, Packing, Ready to send, Delivery address changed
Awaiting paymentOrder has not been paid, Order is waiting for payment (all variants)

Ready for pickupReady to pickup, Not picked up 1 to 5 days, Last pickup day
DeliveredDelivered, Rating

ReturnedReturning, Returned

The status names in the left column are indicative – Seznam chooses the exact wording in the overview.

Where the customer sees it

The order overview is a Seznam Email feature, so it is visible to customers with a Seznam mailbox (for example @seznam.cz addresses). Other e-mail services, such as Gmail, have their own rules and sender approval for displaying orders – don’t rely on the order being displayed there.

The structured data isn’t visible in the e-mail itself; the e-mail looks the same as before.

FAQ

The order doesn’t appear in the Seznam overview. What should I check?

  • That the “Domain” field in the store and market settings starts with https://.
  • That the e-mail template has a logo uploaded.
  • That the e-mail arrived in a Seznam mailbox. We can’t guarantee that Foxdeli orders appear in the order overview of other e-mail services.

Can I turn it off?

Not separately. The structured data is part of all delivery e-mails, and customers don’t see it in the e-mail.
