# DPD

## How to connect carrier data 🚚

To connect this carrier, Foxdeli lets you use the latest method, **DPD Meta API Tracking**. Its advantages are more accurate shipment tracking and a simpler connection. DPD Meta API Tracking is available for DPD shipments sent [from the following countries](https://it-integration.dpd.be/dpd-shipper/meta-api/introduction-2/) (marked in red):

1. Have your **DPD customer number**, **company name, company ID number** and **e-mail address** ready. You will fill this information into the request in the next step.
2. Send the following text to [MetaAPI@geopost.com](mailto:MetaAPI@geopost.com) and [mojedpd@dpd.cz](mailto:mojedpd@dpd.cz) (we recommend copying in your DPD account manager):

Dear Sirs,

We'd like to request **APIKey** within **DPD Meta API Tracking** for our company. Below please find the required information:

- Name of the contracted DPD customer: **_\_\_\_\_\__** _(enter your company name)_
- Czech ID number (if available): **_\_\_\_\_\__** _(enter your company ID number)_
- Contact e-mail address of DPD customer: **_\_\_\_\_\__** _(enter your e-mail address)_
- Customer number: **_\_\_\_\_\__** _(enter your DPD customer number)_

**(If possible, please include tracking within APIKey for all our customer numbers)**

- Name of the IT integration partner: Foxdeli s.r.o. (www.foxdeli.com)
- Estimated volumes of API calls: 500

3. Then enter this APIKey in the [carrier connection](https://my.foxdeli.com/en/settings/carriers) form. Note: in Foxdeli, you need to select the carrier **DPD Meta**.

If you send shipments from a country where **Meta API Tracking is not** available yet (it is not marked in red on the map above), you can use the **GeoAPI method.** To use GeoAPI, follow these steps:

1\. Contact your DPD account manager and ask for **GeoAPI activation** for your account, plus a **username** and **password** for DPD GeoAPI (you can use the following e-mail template):

> _Hello,__  
> please activate GeoAPI for our account so we can connect it to the Foxdeli.com app. Please also send us the username and password for GeoAPI.__  
> Kind regards_

2\. Enter the username and password you received from DPD in the [carrier connection](https://my.foxdeli.com/en/settings/carriers) form.
